Stephen A. Pratt, Respected Carpenter and U.S. Army Veteran, Passes Away at 39 in Cranston, Rhode Island

Cranston, Rhode Island – Stephen A. Pratt, a dedicated carpenter and U.S. Army veteran, tragically passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 39.

Stephen was born in Providence and spent many years working in the construction industry, where he was known for his skills and work ethic.

He was the beloved son of the late Carol A. (MacDonald) Hogg and Raymond C. Pratt, and the cherished stepson of Lori A. (Schiavulli) Pratt of Cranston.

Stephen was also a devoted father to his two children, Angelina Pratt and Alexander Pratt, both of Johnston.

He is survived by his siblings Brandi Pratt of Maine, and Michael Pratt, Austin Moon (Alexandra), and Savannah Moon (Olivia) of Cranston.

Stephen’s life was one of service, both to his community through his work and to his country through his service in the U.S. Army.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Robin Hadayia expressed, “For 25 years you were a huge part of my life… saying goodbye is going to be one of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do.”

Friends and family members shared their condolences on social media.

Melinda Morrison wrote, “I’m so sorry for you and your family’s loss,” while Brittany Camille commented, “I’m so sorry Robin.”

Visiting hours will be held at Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Burial services will remain private.
