Odessa, Texas – Texas Highway Patrol Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez, a U.S. Army veteran and 2023 DPS Academy graduate, tragically passed away on September 17, 2024, after sustaining fatal injuries when struck by a vehicle during a crash investigation.
