Mathews, Virginia – William L. "Bill" Cooke, Sr., a beloved resident of Mathews, passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Cooke are currently incomplete and will be handled by Forrest Brothers Funeral Home in Hudgins.
Mr. Cooke, affectionately known as "Bill," touched the lives of many in his community with his kindness and generosity throughout his century of life.
